Full Time
Responsibilities:
- Accounts payable.
- Record and process invoices received from suppliers.
- Properly classify the invoices to the correct general ledger account and project.
- Prepare the credit card reconciliation and ensure all codification is done accurately.
- Classify electronically all invoices and supporting documents in a systematic method.
- Ensure that controls are followed in relation to expenses and payments.
- Assist in managing the payables inbox to ensure timely treatment of invoices.
- Prepare payments of invoices via electronic fund transfer, wire transfer and/or cheques.
- Accounts receivable.
- Prepare monthly rent roll.
- Prepare Deposit slips.
- Ensure cash receipts properly recorded.
- Collection of outstanding rents.
- General Ledger.
- Preparation of Bank reconciliations.
- Prepare reconciliations of various GL accounts and any Ad Hoc reconciliations or analyses requested.
- Assist in the preparation of year-end files.
Education and requirements:
- DEP in Accounting.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Accounting or equivalent (an asset).
- 3 years of experience in a similar role.
- Knowledge of HOPEM Software a plus.
- Real Estate experience a plus.
- Strong planning and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Dynamic personality and solid team player.
- Strong computer skills, especially Excel.
- Bilingual (French and English).
Salary:
$50,000.00-$62,000.00 per year, depending on experience
